Losing Your Job Doesn't Make You a Loser!

by Christian Schoyen, leading U.S. job expert, life architect, and author - ASecondLife.com

You were good at your job and loyal to your employer. But they let you go anyway. You're trying not to feel angry and betrayed; but the truth is, you didn't do anything wrong. You played the game according to "society's rules," but instead of getting ahead, you're worse off than you were before. Now you feel afraid about not having enough money to pay your bills and feed your family; and honestly, you don't know how you're going to manage.

Whether they realize it or not, most Americans have been brainwashed to believe that their value as a human being is determined by what kind of job they have, what kind of house they live in, what kind of car they drive, how they dress, and who they choose to marry. So they've spent their entire lives trying to live up to society's expectations.

The harsh truth: You've been brainwashed to feel like a failure.

Nobody told you that this mentality based on external values could only result in disappointment; that you would be only a shadow of what you are capable of being.

The solution: This is your wake-up call , your opportunity to reevaluate your life, claim your birthright and become the person God intended for you to be. By liberating yourself from society's expectations, you can discover what it takes for you to feel truly happy and fulfilled. Now you can be free!

You = A Robot

Most people have been trained beginning in childhood by a reward and punishment system, not unlike that used with the family dog. It creates a yearning for rewards given for being "good" and a fear of punishment or rejection if we do not comply with the desires of our authority figures.

Without intending to harm or deceive you, your parents, family members, schools, teachers, peers, organized religions, and the media trained you to be a mental slave. You were given incorrect information, and so you made wrong choices. As you attempted to meet the expectations of other people and gain their approval, you also gave up your own individuality and accepted less than what we truly wanted in life.

Still, there remains somewhere within each of us the spark of our own true desires, which cannot be extinguished. When that spark cannot ignite our true passions, we feel uninspired, unfulfilled, anxious, depressed or out of control. We lose the clear connection between God and our true selves that is called passion. We go through the motions each day like robots. Eventually we may be unaware of all the ways our lives could be different; we are unable to even see what we are missing. We feel like losers.

If you have been caught up in an endless cycle of meaningless activities on the road to nowhere, it's not your fault. You didn't know any better. You worked at a job you didn't like in order to make money to buy things you didn't need. You became a slave to financial institutions who tricked you and lied to you. Your physical and mental health suffered because of stress and pressure you felt to achieve goals set by someone else. Your relationships suffered because you focused too much on your job/career and your finances. As a result, you couldn't find time or energy to do something worthwhile with your life, to achieve a meaningful goal or make the world a better place. You may even feel that God has deserted you.

You are not alone.

If you're struggling in the job market or financially, you are part of the majority of Americans. These are the facts:

* There are 140 million people in the labor force of the United States.

* The official unemployment rate is around 10%--that's 14 million people out of work.

* But the real number is double that, more like 28 million people when you count those not officially included: part-time workers, temporary workers, those no longer qualified for unemployment benefits; and the dropouts (those who gave up on finding a job or returned to school).

* Studies show that 55% of working people (77 million) fear losing their jobs and feel out of control. They are afraid that without a paycheck, they'll also lose their cars, their homes, and won't be able to feed their families.

* So, more than 70% of Americans are experiencing difficulties and fear in the job market.

Why are you struggling to hold onto or regain something you never really wanted in the first place?

Recent studies conclude that at least 50% of working people in the United States are actually unhappy in their jobs. That's half. No one is polling the recently unemployed, the persistently unemployed, or those desperately trying to get back into the types of jobs they were working in before.

I contend that people are trying to secure new jobs that are similar to those they've done before only because they have been brainwashed to believe that's what they must do. Certainly everyone needs to work in order to make money to support themselves and their families, but if people truly had a choice, would the jobs they've lost (or left behind) really be the same jobs they'd want back if they had the opportunity to make a different choice? I believe the answer is, "No."

When reviewing the larger picture of your life, what do you see?

Certainly the ups and downs of life present us with challenges. But many of our challenges are a result of the wrong thinking indoctrination we have been programmed to believe. We believe happiness is just around the corner if only we do this thing or that thing, that happiness will be found and the respect of others gained by achieving society's goals; that earning enough money will automatically eliminate all of our other problems. We have been programmed to believe that any sacrifices of our physical health, relationships and spiritual well being made while we seek career success are worth it. But most people are disappointed to realize after securing their respectable dream job that it does not result in the happiness they worked so hard to achieve. They realize that they were chasing goals that actually prevented them from living in the NOW-which is all there is.

If your obituary were written today, what would it say about your life? How would you want to be remembered? How would you like your accomplishments in life to be honored?

Sit down now and write the things that would be important to mention about the five key areas of life: your job/career, your financial stability, your marriage and family, your physical vitality, and the ways you give back to society.

I was at a funeral recently for a hard-working man who died in his eighties. For over an hour one person after another stood up and conveyed memories of their times spent with him. Each person presented a different observation of the man's admirable qualities, based on their personal interactions with him. No one spoke of his career accomplishments or his financial success. Finally, a little elderly woman slowly stood up. "In the end," she said, "the best that can be said of him is: He was a good man!" Everyone in the room nodded in agreement.

Rewrite the story of your life to be more than your job/career.

Certainly facing a job/career or financial crisis is very scary and stressful. Not knowing when you'll get your next paycheck or if you'll be able to hang onto your job (if you still have one) can become an all-consuming worry. But look at the positive side of your situation: If you are struggling in the job market or financially-and perhaps you have nothing to lose-this is a great opportunity to reinvent your life to be exactly what you want it to be. By seeing that trying to live up to society's expectations did not guarantee your success, or happiness, but only resulted in disappointment and disillusionment, you are in the most powerful position of your entire life. Instead of being afraid, for one day, allow yourself to view your situation as having unlimited possibilities. Now is your chance to create the life you really want, a life that is truly meaningful. Now you can begin living your second life.

Playing the game of life to win.

Winning at the game of life requires achieving balance in all five key areas of life. This isn't always easy, particularly when we have been indoctrinated to believe that the dictates of society's rules are more important than honoring our life purpose by mastering our God-given gifts.

The ideal is that each of us is a sum total of all that God has given:

- Our job/career provides us the financial resources to support ourselves and loved ones materially while giving back to society.

- Our physical health is the vehicle that houses the soul and carries us through our every day endeavors.

- Our relationships (with ourselves and others) are a reflection of our values, principles and beliefs.

- Our spirituality provides the consciousness of living in Oneness with all other living things by being of service to others in our every day lives while fulfilling our own life purpose using our God-given gifts. While mastering these five key areas of life you can begin living A Second Life , being the best that you can be.

A proven system for making your job search more successful is detailed in the life manual, A Second Life, God is giving you a second chance. It contains an extensive chapter with detailed guidance on how to find a job, interview tips, winning the job and creating a job insurance policy once you've got the job. It also tells you how to fully develop all five key areas of life, so that if you are struggling in the job market, you won't feel like the world is going to end. The new world Order; a prophetic message of warning to Jews & Christians

The New World Order: a prophetic warning to Jews

 by Prophetess D

This is a prophetic warning. God first told me this thru Ezekiel 33, a watchman who is told to warn of danger, 15 years ago. It is God's will for the Jews to return to Israel. Scriptures say this. I used to tell them and they would say, "that's crazy, it's safer here." When 911 happened, God told me "Tell them NOW".  God told me to say "the sword is coming". This is right out of Ezekiel 33.

The expression New World Order has been around for years. Hitler used it (I saw it on a newspaper in Jerusalem from Nazi Germany). It refers to a plan to have a one world government which is opposed to God and Christ. It is the same spirit as Nazism. The New World Order is the Fourth Reich. Pat Robertson wrote a book by that title. Those behind the cabal to create it are David Rockefeller, Henry Kissinger, Zbig Brzezinsky, and the other politicos, European Royalty, world bankers and CEO's of multinational corporations who are members of the Council on Foreign Relations, the Bilderberg group and the Trilateral Commission. Dan Estulin has written The True History of the Bildebergers. Those people have an agenda to destroy the sovereignty of the US and replace it with the one world government run by the banking elite, which unfortunately includes bankers like the Rothschilds which have manipulated economic crises and wars for years. One doesn't read about this conspiracy in the mainstream media because they are part of the cabal-they attend the meetings and agree not to cover what is discussed. But the independent media have been onto them for quite awhile. Check out Alex Jones (radio host) site infowars.com. He has many movies free on youtube which talk about this. He says their plans have been thwarted by exposure of them.

"All we need is the right crisis and the masses will accept the New World Order" Says David Rockefeller, who calls himself a "globalist"

George H.W. Bush said in a speech on 911 l993 that "the gulf war is the first test of the new world order."

A supernatural prophetic warning: when Homeland Security was formed, there appeared in the Boston Globe on Oct 9 2001 an article about it and a picture of Bush and Tom Ridge in front of a flag. The flag that appeared in the picture was not an American flag, but a swastika. I and others saw this. This was a supernatural warning about the spirit of Homeland Security being the same spirit as Nazi Germany; a fascist police state. The Nazis called it the Fatherland.

Jim Marrs' best-selling book The Rise of the Fourth Reich talks about how Nazism went underground and is surfacing now. The Holy Spirit gave me a "witness" that the book is telling the truth. It is not fiction.

"Today, America would be outraged if U.N. troops entered Los Angeles to restore order. Tomorrow they will be grateful! This is especially true if they were told that there were an outside threat from beyond, whether real or promulgated, that threatened our very existence. It is then that all peoples of the world will plead to deliver them from this evil. The one thing every man fears is the unknown. When presented with this scenario, individual rights will be willingly relinquished for the guarantee of their well-being granted to them by the World Government." Dr. Henry Kissinger, Bilderberger Conference, Evians, France, 1991

It is said there are foreign UN troops in various bases around the country. Foreign troops are more willing to shoot American citizens than our military, and this is a way of getting around the Posse Comitatus law, which forbids using the U.S.military for police purposes

"The illegal we do immediately. The unconstitutional takes a little longer." Dr. Henry Kissinger New York Times, Oct. 28, 1973

The New World Order is a Freemason-Illuminati term that is on the dollar bill in Latin (novus ordu seclorum). The Illuminati, an old occult mystical group, infiltrated freemasonry. The image was put there under FDR. Freemasonry is really Sat--ism at the top level, though the lower levels don't know it. I have seen the handbook for the 32nd level Scottish Rite, written by Albert Pike, a Sat--ist. (I don't use the name of the devil because it can invoke his spirit) He says "we worship the Luciferian principle, but we don't tell the lower levels this." People who are masons need to renounce it and get out. It brings curses on one's family. I know of several masons whose family members died; this was from the curses. "No one will enter the New World Order unless he or she will make a pledge to worship Lucifer. No one will enter the New Age unless he will take a Luciferian Initiation."David Spangler, Director of Planetary Initiative, United Nations

It is the New Testament that warns us about the new world order, in the book of Revelation ch 17 which echoes ch 7 of Daniel, referring to governments as "beasts" and also describing the multi-national new world order as a beast with 10 horns, which represent kings. It is the European Union.

Understand also, that two of the agendas of the new world order are to microchip everyone to control them and to wipe out 80% of the world's population through genocide. They call it population control. It is part of the agenda of the UN and the World Health Org. Deadly vaccines are their main tactic to kill people and make them sterile. Jesse Ventura in his Conspiracy Theory series (you can watch it on youtube) interviewed a doctor in an episode on secret societies part 5 and 6 who said many of the vaccines have squaline, a poison, whose purpose is to make people sick and die. She said it looks like Gulf War syndrome. No doubt they tested it on the military there. She said that she had been told by a member of the new world order elite that the time to "cull the population" was drawing near. Nathan Tabor's book The Beast on the East River  documents the population control agenda of the State Dept. under Kissinger. Foreign aid to 3rd world countries was tied to their compliance to pop control measures including abortion and sterilization. These population control measures are not only aimed at third world countries; vaccines and mass medication occur everywhere. I saw a video titled Polio vaccine caused cancer where one of the original doctors said the polio vaccine had other viruses and he feared it would cause cancer. There is much evidence that vaccines, which have mercury, a toxin, cause autism and alzeimers. Mercury degenerates neurons in the brain.

In a recent speech at TED, Bill Gates, stating that the global population was heading towards 9 billion, said, "If we do a really great job on new vaccines, health care, reproductive health services (abortion & sterilization), we could lower that by perhaps 10 or 15 per cent." I listened to this on the web. He said it.

Some other quotes about depopulation:
"Depopulation should be the highest priority of foreign policy towards the third world, because the US economy will require large and increasing amounts of minerals from abroad, especially from less developed countries". Dr. Henry Kissinger
"World population needs to be decreased by 50%" Dr. Henry Kissinger; "The elderly are useless eaters" Dr. Henry Kissinger

"War and famine would not do. Instead, disease offered the most efficient and fastest way to kill the billions that must soon die if the population crisis is to be solved. AIDS is not an efficient killer because it is too slow. My favorite candidate for eliminating 90 percent of the world's population is airborne Ebola (Ebola Reston), because it is both highly lethal and it kills in days, instead of years. We've got airborne diseases with 90 percent mortality in humans. Killing humans. Think about that. You know, the bird flu's good, too. For everyone who survives, he will have to bury nine" Dr. Eric Pianka University of Texas evolutionary ecologist and lizard expert, showed solutions for reducing the world's population to an audience on population control which gave him a standing ovation

"In South America, the government of Peru goes door to door pressuring women to be sterilized and they are funded by American tax dollars to do this."Mark Earley in The Wrong Kind of Party Christian Post 10/27 2008

" "If I were reincarnated I would wish to be returned to earth as a killer virus to lower human population levels." Prince Phillip, Queen Elizabeth's husband, Duke of Edinburgh, leader of the World Wildlife Fund

"The present vast overpopulation, now far beyond the world carrying capacity, cannot be answered by future reductions in the birth rate due to contraception, sterilization and abortion, but must be met in the present by the reduction of numbers presently existing. This must be done by whatever means necessary." Initiative for the United Nations ECO-92 EARTH CHARTER

Jews cannot afford to be ignorant of the New Testament, as it warns us about what is going on politically. Revelation 13:16 (new testament) is referring to these microchips as a mark, called the mark of the beast, which the beast caused everyone to receive in their right hand or forehead, without which nobody can buy or sell. The bible warns that those who take this mark will suffer eternal torment.

Google Nick Rockefeller/Aaron Russo on youtube. Russo, a Jew, was an indep. filmaker who became friends with Rockefeller and interviewed him. NR talks about his family's plans to microchip everyone as part of a plot to create a fascist one world government.

The technology to microchip exists. RFID chips. They use it in pets. ABC News NYC recently had a story of a man who took one voluntarily to store healthcare info. 13 years ago I heard it announced in FL that they were "thinking of testing them in jails and mental hospitals." They say it is a tb test in jails, as a ruse. I had a spooky feeling in a jail there about one, and then found out about Carl Sanders, whose website Trumpet Ministries warns people that chips he helped design 30 years ago for the CIA are the "mark of the beast". He told me they tested them in the Gulf War military.

The new health care bill HR 3300 p. 1001 sneakily mandates microchips. It says within 3 years, "The sec. of Health & Human Services shall establish & begin implementation of registry of medical devices,, pursuant to FDA reg section 519g of Federal Food,Drug & Cosmetic Act 21 USC 360i document Dec 10 2004 which explicitly calls for Implantable transponders for patient ID and health information. The FDA directive lists gail.gantt@fda.hhs.gov for info.

I have a witness from the Holy Spirit that they will use vaccines sneakily to put microchips in people. Another reason not to take vaccines.

Because the new world order is anti-God, all God's people are in danger from it. There are concentration camps being built in every state in this country. Kellog Brown & Root, a subsidiary of Halliburton, got a huge contract to build them in 2006. The contract states "for illegal immigrants & other unspecified purposes." If you google American concentration camps you will find lists of them. They are to be run by FEMA. Alex Jones' movies also talk about the FEMA camps. You can see them free on youtube. (see Infowars.com) The targets for prisoners will be illegal immigrants, Jews, Christians, blacks, dissidents, constitutionalists, patriots, anyone who opposes the new world order. Infowars.com has quotes from ads for detention camp specialists in the army national guard (army reg. 210-35) "Civilian inmate labor program" to "establish civilian inmates labor program and prison camps on army installations". The lists of the camps include many army bases, former WWII internment camps, and the new ones being built by KBR. HR 5210 passed 11/l988 mandates that military installations are to be used as mental treatment centers, or prison camps with work programs. All of these places have been refurbished with barbed wire pointing in, to keep people in rather than out. A suspicious amtrack railroad car repair location in Beech Grove, IN has the same. The Holy Spirit gave me a "witness" 13 years ago about their being "concentration camps in Indiana", which had been rumored among Christians for years. Alex Jones has a video on youtube titled 500,000 coffins. It shows plastic coffins stacked in GA near Atlanta airport, waiting to be used, on FEMA –leased property. The official reason for them is supposedly in case of biological disease outbreak, he says. But is that really the purpose? Gunderson Steel is rumored to have gotten contracts to build railroad cars outfitted with shackles, enough for 1,500,000 prisoners. Phil Schneider, who was killed for exposing the New World Order, and had helped build underground bases under Denver Airport and other places, said he saw Gunderson's railcars. All of this can be researched on the web.

Google Denver Int'l Airport-new world order on youtube and watch the video showing the place. There is an entire underground city there to be a headquarter for the new world order. The building was built by freemasons (it has a masonic capstone) who at the top level are sat--ists (unknown to the lower levels). I have read the handbook for the 32 degree Scottish Rite, written by Albert Pike, a sat--ist. It says "we worship the Luciferian principle, but we don't tell the lower levels this". The buildings at DIA are shaped like a swastika. There are creepy murals showing the end of the world and people in coffins. The people in the coffins look like a 3rd world african, an indian and a girl holding a bible with a cross on it and wearing a jewish star. The murals show soldiers with gas masks and swords killing a dove, and mothers holding dead babies. This image of the sword confirms the word God gave me in Ezekiel 33 about "the sword is coming".

Just like Hitler warned us in mein kampf of who he intended to kill, this airport's murals are warning who they intend to kill thru genocide. The coffins are showing blacks, Indians, Jews & Christians, among others. The Holy Spirit gave me a "witness" about this place. Jesse Ventura also investigates it in his "conspiracy theory" show on the episode 2012. He shows the Masonic capstone, where it says "New World Airport Commission". They show the underground tunnels, and one of his interviewees says many workers have told him about the tunnels, it being an underground city. Outside there are large areas with barbed wire fences, facing in (to keep people in). The tunnels at DIA have sprinklers in the ceilings, which is weird because they are concrete tunnels. They must plan on piping in gases or viruses to kill people, like the Nazis did in the showers. That would explain the murals of all the dead people.

Mental Health facilities are another form of concentration camp. They are prisons, not hospitals. Most of them have flags outside that say POW.MIA; symbolic of the fact that they are prisons and death camps. People die in the hospitals from the drugs, which cause brain damage, liver and kidney damage. "mental health" is Orwellian double-speak. It is mental death, not health. Calling them "hospitals" instead of "death camps" is just a way of euphemistically covering up what they're really doing. What goes on in those places is soul-murder. The purpose of the drugs is mind control. The holy spirit told me it is sorcery. The root of the word pharmacy is pharmakeia in Greek, which translates as drugs, sorcery. Sorcery is an abomination to God, according to Deut. 18. The doctors & nurses who give out these drugs need to repent. The mental health system is completely unconstitutional and needs to be dismantled. The state mental health laws are all unconstitutional and need to be challenged at the highest level. They violate the 1st amendment for religious freedom (religious experiences are defined as symptoms of mental illness by atheistic dr.s'); the 13th anti-slavery amendment (patients are involuntarily drugged and used as medical guinea pigs-this is involuntary servitude, slavery); the 8th amendment against cruel & unusual punishment (the drugs & other "treatments" are torture); and the 6th and 14th due process amendments. They also violate the U.N. Declaration on Human Rights art. 3

God made me a witness to what goes on in these places and had me write a book about it to warn people. You can read it on my website at 1prophetspeaks.com: Manual for Transformational Healing-God's answer to psychiatry.  2 years before He made me a witness to it, He had prophesied to me "I'm gonna use you to write a manual". The title came to me later in a dream. Anyone who works in mental health needs to read this book.

Communist countries like Russia & China have used psych hospitals against political dissidents. People think it doesn't happen here, but it's been happening for 50 years to Christians in this country; God had me write the book to expose it. It will be used against any dissidents in the near future as part of the New World Order agenda if it isn't stopped.

There is supposedly a mental health facility in Alaska at Elmendorf AFB designed to hold 1 million people (I got this from l website-I have not verified it). Maybe it is underground. Phil Schneider said there are 1500 underground bases worldwide.

Mass medication of the population as a way of controlling them was developed by the Nazis using fluoride in the drinking water of the camps. They did it to make people docile and more easily controlled. Fluoride is a toxic waste that has been marketed around the world to strengthen teeth by putting it in the drinking water and toothpaste. It is a scam. It is a poison and they are using it for the same purposes as the Nazis. Toothpaste tubes all have warnings that if you swallow it, consult poison control. The element fluorine, which is in fluoride, is also in all the anti-psychotic drugs used to stupify patients. It causes brain damage. The pharmaceuticals all have ties to Germany-there is again a Nazi connection. The mental health drugs are toxic and deadly. Many patients die slowly if not quickly from them. Drugging the population to control them is one reason they have been moving in the direction of mental health screening in schools-to drug the kids. Aldous Huxley author of Brave New World, a prophetic book about a future fascist society where everyone is drugged, said that scientific fascism would be easy to sell to the masses.

Psychiatry is atheism masquerading as science. They claim mental illness is caused by chemical imbalances, but that is a lie to sell drugs. Labels like schizophrenia and schizo-affective disorder are just slander of people who have spiritual beliefs and experiences, rooted in an atheistic world view. The bible's solution for mental illness is the same as for physical illness; rebuking the spirits that cause it in Jesus' name. This works. I have done it. People who dabble in the occult or use drugs or alcohol give the devil an opening for demonic oppression or possession, which causes mental illness. They need to repent of it to be healed. Psych meds cause mental illness; they don't cure it, for the same reason. All the shooters at schools like Columbine were being treated with mental health drugs, which made them homicidal and suicidal. The drug handbooks warn that anti-psychotic drugs can cause psychosis. I heard a prophetic warning a while back that those who harm us would be "those who would heal you". This was a warning about the mental health system, through the drugs, and the vaccines which are designed to sterilize, sicken and kill. Psychiatry, through its atheism, is a dead end. The psychiatrist at Ft Hood who shot people was like a prophetic warning; the psychiatrists who use drugs (most of them) are just as deadly. Some of them, like Peter Breggin and Nathaniel Lehrman, who speak out against the drugs, are prophets. Don't overlook all the other drugs that are marketed for various purposes fraudulently which have dangerous side effects just to make money. The bible says the love of money is the root of all evil. Melody Peterson's book Our Daily Meds  2008 documents fraud in medicine.

There are historical connections between Freemasonry, which is Sat--ism, Nazism and psychiatry. The Nazis were into the occult; they were devil worshippers. In 1928 the Rockefeller Foundation funded the Kaiser Wilhelm Institute for Psychiatry in Munich directed by Ernst Rudin, a Nazi. In l932 Rudin was appointed president of the Global Eugenics Foundation. In l945 the World Fed. For Mental Health was founded by Harry Stack Sullivan and George Brock Chisholm. Chisholm says "to achieve world government, it is necessary to remove…individualism, loyalty to family tradition, national patriotism and religious dogma." 1948 the 3rd int'l congress of Mental Hygiene says "principles of mental health cannot be successfully furthered in any society unless there is progressive acceptance of world citizenship." In l948 the National Insti. Of Mental Health was founded. Jim Keith's book Mass Control says CIA mind control experiment MKULTRA director dr. Robert Hanna Felix was director of psychiatric research for the Scottish Rite of Freemasonry, and Dir. of the National Instit. Of Mental Health. So Sat--ists, through masonry, were running the mental health system. Nazism has been working all along, covertly through psychiatry.

The New World Order agenda has been working through mental health and also education, to program children to be world citizens. G. Brock Chisholm, a psychiatrist, was first head of the world health org, a UN group. He was anti-God. He says the purpose of education is to prepare people for world government. John Dewey, the father of educational reform, was a secular humanist; he wrote the Humanist Manifesto. His agenda was to promote secular humanism in education. It is really atheism and is opposed to God. This is really unconstitutional since it is forbidden to establish a state religion, but they have established atheism or secular humanism as a state religion in the public schools. The Communist Manifesto No. 19 directs members to infiltrate churches and replace revealed religion with other forms, discredit the bible and inject Humanism. Substitute education for churches and it's right out of their playbook.

Hitler did the same thing; he said "I have the youth". Jonah Goldberg, in his book Liberal Fascism, quotes a song the nazi youth sang, saying "we have no need of Christian virtue; Adolph Hitler is our savior." This proves the Nazis were not Christians, so Jesus and Christianity should not be blamed for what they did to the Jews. The Nazis were devil worshippers and the devil hates God's people, both Christians and Jews. When they took prayer out of the schools, that left a spiritual vacuum for the devil to come in, and he has, in various forms. One is multicultural education, where they teach about other religions but not the bible. This is hypocrisy. They also use occult visualizations and meditations for creativity; this is spiritually dangerous and can open people to demonic oppression. I have taught in the public schools and seen what they do. I once found a teacher using a Ouija board as a game; the kids were possessed. They were the most violent and uncontrollable I'd ever seen.

We cannot afford to be ignorant of God's word -the bible. Isaiah ch 53 talks about the messiah and it so obviously refers to Jesus that they don't include it in the yearly readings in synagogues. This is lying by omission on the part of the rabbis. Hence, Jews have been ignorant of the prophecies describing the Jewish messiah, Jesus, or Yeshua which means salvation in Hebrew. It says "He was wounded for our transgressions..my righteous servant shall justify many for he shall bear their iniquities." The rabbis, when asked, argue that the passage refers to the Jewish people, not one man. But the line "for the transgressions of My people he was stricken" prove otherwise. Whenever, in other scriptures, God refers to My people, he means the Jews, not the whole world. So to be consistent, he is saying that one man was the atonement for His people, the Jews.

Read the New Testament for yourself. Read a King James or New King James translation. The more modern translations have omitted some scriptures and parts of scriptures. It was written by Jews. Jesus only came to Jews, not gentiles. If God didn't want us to believe he was the messiah, why would He have sent him to us and not the gentiles? It doesn't make sense for gentiles to believe he is the savior, but not the Jews. He was the savior for all people-to the jew first, and then the gentile.

Don't let the rabbis mislead you. Just like they have mislead the Jewish people about the messiah for 2,000 years, they falsely reassured the Jews to stay in Europe when they should have left and gone to Palestine; danger is coming to the Jews in this country now through the new world order. God is again saying, go to ISRAEL. It was not God's will for the Jews to die in the Holocaust; he sent prophets warning them to leave. Zeev Jabotinsky was one. Naomi Wolf's prophetic book The End of America ,(2008) is a warning about how close this country is to a fascist state.

This is a prophetic warning. God first told me this thru Ezekiel 33, a watchman who is told to warn of danger, 15 years ago. It is God's will for the Jews to return to Israel. Scriptures say this. I used to tell them and they would say, "that's crazy, it's safer here." When 911 happened, God told me Tell them NOW. God told me to say "the sword is coming". This is right out of Ezekiel 33.

The date of 911 is symbolic in that 911 is the number for police, and the government used it as an excuse to continue to create a police state in this country, passing the patriot act, among other things. Google executive orders; Bush signed many designed to be used under martial law, when the constitution is revoked. Nick Rockefeller even told Aaron Russo that "an event" was being planned, as an excuse to create the new world order. There is ample evidence for truth seekers that the buildings were blown up. The planes did not bring them down. 3 buildings fell, and only 2 were hit by planes. There was a "stand down" order that Cheney knew about and kept re-invoking to keep the planes from being intercepted. Terrorism is the problem that is being provoked to be used as an excuse to create a global police state, the new world order. A lot of these attacks are false flags and provocations by government agents. Yes, radical islam is a threat to the jews, but so is the solution, a global police state. It is the devil's technique-he creates a problem and then tries to sell us his solution. The motto of masonry is Order out of Chaos. They create the chaos and then their fascist police state as the order.

Initially I believed 911 was done by Arab terrorists, but I was standing outside a meeting of the 911 truthers and the Holy Spirit said to me "to support your prophetic message", implying their beliefs that the gov. was behind it are closer to the truth. One of the tidbits that struck me as patently ridiculous was how they conveniently found a passport from one of the terrorists on the ground near ground zero. After everything else burned they found that? The BBC was initially reporting that all the supposed terrorists were showing up alive in other countries.

Nick Rockefeller told Aaron Russo that the "event" to come would be used as an excuse to go to Afghanistan & Iraq for their oil, and they would also go after Chavez in Venezuela. He said they would be looking in caves in Afghanistan, and it's all a hoax. Khalid Shaikh Mohamad was waterboarded 100 times, and his family was threatened. His confessions are completely invalid.

The Jews belong in Israel because there will be supernatural protection there as there has been in every war and is prophesied in the bible. When Saddam Hussein attacked Israel, he sent 39 scuds to Tel Aviv and not one exploded. NY is a target for Islamic terrorists because of its Jews. God is using terrorists to judge America for her sins, if they don't repent and turn back to God, just like he used Nebuchadnezzar to judge Israel in ancient times, for her sins. The NY Times reported 2 days ago that Iran now has enough nuclear material for 2 bombs.

The New Testament tells us this global police state will happen, but ultimately will be defeated by Jesus and his kingdom. Jeremiah 15 also tells us that if God ever says he will bring judgment, but people repent, He will change his mind. Other prophets have said that God is weeping over America, wanting us to turn back to Him.

Nations need to repent to avoid judgment thru wars, plagues and natural disasters, all of which are tools used by God to bring people to repentance, to seek Him. Individuals need to repent to be saved, and salvation, as Jesus said, is of the Jews. That salvation comes by accepting the messiah of the Jews, Yeshua, Jesus on a personal level and asking to be filled with the Holy Spirit, to be born again. That is not a denial of Jewishness, but a fulfillment of it.

If you want to feel more Jewish, go to Israel; you will. Israelis define their Jewishness by being there, not denying Jesus, like diaspora Jews. When I ask Israelis what they think of Jesus, I more often got a response "what's the big deal-he was a Jew".

Christianity was a natural outgrowth of ancient biblical Judaism. It started as a sect of Judaism. Talmud Judaism sprung up in response to it. The Talmud tells blasphemous lies about Jesus. The Jews used to sacrifice animals as an atonement for sin. Jesus, the son of God, was the ultimate sacrifice, once and for all, for all people so that it no longer was necessary to sacrifice animals. That's why God allowed the temple to be destroyed in 70 AD so they would stop sacrificing animals. That time was over. Even rabbis admit that Christianity is closer to ancient Judaism than modern Judaism is. This is because of this issue of the sacrifice, and its meaning, which is described in Isaiah 53. Read your bible. Read Isaiah 9:6 which says: "to us is a child is born, to us a son is given and the government will be on his shoulder, and his name will be called wonderful counselor, mighty God, everlasting father, prince of peace." It is the indwelling of the Holy Spirit which testifies that Jesus is the messiah, and brings personal peace.

There will only be peace in Israel when all God's children (Jews and gentiles) accept Jesus as messiah. Political peace necessitates and follows inner peace. He is what unites us. God will have his kingdom on earth when Jesus returns, bringing judgment. Jeremiah 31:31, which came to me in a dream when I asked God if Jesus was the messiah, says that God will make a new covenant "not like the one I made with them when I delivered them from Egypt, which they broke... and I will forgive their sins." The forgiveness of sins through Jesus was the new covenant, the fulfillment of the prophecies and the destiny of the Jewish people.

Understand that in the New Testament, there is the office of prophet in the church-Ephesians 5. God has never stopped using prophets, but he also speaks to us all directly through the Holy Spirit, which has been on the earth since Jesus sent it from Heaven to be with us and in us. God speaks to all of us in our thoughts.. We just need to recognize when it is He who is talking to us. Our conscience is God. Prayer and reading the bible so we are familiar with His voice are how we learn to discern it. Jesus said "my sheep hear my voice". John 10:27 The indwelling of the Holy Spirit gives a person a "witness" that something is God talking to them, or is true. The Holy Spirit testifies that Jesus is the messiah. We need to be filled with the Holy Spirit to have that tool to be able to discern what is God. According to the bible, there are two sources of thought; God and the Devil. The book of James ch 3 (new testament) says there is wisdom from above and wisdom from below. It describes that from below as being "earthly, sensual, demonic". All thoughts come to us from the spiritual realm. Our minds are like radio receivers. The word "inspiration" means "a spirit goes into it." "Wisdom from above is first pure, then peacable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy." James 3:17

Jesus not only saves, he heals. It is God's will to heal us, when we repent of our sins. When we accept Jesus, we gain authority to rebuke afflictions of all kinds, which are often caused by spirits of those afflictions. I know this from experience; I have been healed many times, including serious life-threatening diseases. There is no disease that cannot be healed by God through Jesus. Jesus said, "if you ask anything in my name I will do it." John 14:14 He told his followers to preach the gospel, heal the sick, raise the dead, cast out demons. Matt 10:8

Some scriptures from the New Testament about Jesus from the Gospel of John: "In the beginning was the word and the word was with God and the word was God." John 1:1 "And the word was made flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld his glory as of the only begotten of the father, full of grace and truth." John l:14 "The law came by Moses, but grace and truth come by Jesus Christ." John 1:17

The Trinity and the Schma: 1 John 5:7 says "There are 3 that bear record in heaven, the Father, Word and Holy Spirit, and these 3 are one". This is describing the trinity. For those who think the schma contradicts the trinity, consider this: The schma says Hear o Israel the Lord is One. The Hebrew word for one in the schma is Echad. Echad is also used in Genesis 2:24: A man shall leave his mother and cleave to his wife and the 2 shall be one flesh." Here the word obviously denotes a compound unity. Two people, yet one in the flesh. So echad also means a compound unity in the schma – meaning the Godhead is 3: father, son and Holy Spirit. I got a personal revelation about the meaning of echad once when I was at El Al. I was going thru a turnstile and a man came up behind me. The Israeli said to me, "echad?" meaning, "are you one with him?" The Hebrew word for God is ELOHIM which is plural, so this also implies a trinity.

You can got to Israel SUPERNATURALLY by the spirit of God without money or airplanes. Go outside. Travel light. Fast. Pray in the name of Jesus for God to take you there. Jesus said "if you ask anything in my name, ye shall have it. Verily I say unto you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, be removed, and it shall be removed. Nothing shall be impossible unto you." Mathew 17 Travelling supernaturally by the spirit of God happened to Phillip in the Book of Acts ch 8 (NT) and Ezekiel ch 3 (OT).

The New Testament says that gentile Christians are spiritual Jews, grafted into God's people. They have a right to go to Israel too.

The MOST IMPORTANT THING to realize about all of this negative information is that it shows how critical it is to each of us to have an ongoing relationship with God, so that He can guide us and warn us and protect us. We need to hear him speaking to us and telling us where to go and where not to go. There are times He will protect us no matter what is going on around us, (Psalm 91); there are also times he will tell us to go somewhere else. When he brought judgment on Sodom and Gomorrah, he told Lot to leave. God speaks to all of us through the Holy Spirit, in our thoughts.  Praying the Lord's Prayer every day helps to get that guidance. It says "lead us not into temptation, and deliver us from evil." (I choose to say  "protect me from evil" which is to say, to avoid it rather than be in it and have to get out of it". I think it is wiser.

The whole prayer is in Mathew 6. "Our father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Your kingdom come your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive others their trespasses. And do not lead us into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. For yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen. For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly father will forgive you yours. But if you forgive not their trespasses, your heavenly father will not forgive yours. Matt 6:14-15

Christian Health - 15 Reasons Your Prayer for Health May Be Blocked

Author: Patti Olson

You've thought you've been a "good" Christian. You go to church, have devotions and are active in church events. You pray - well, especially now that you're sick and neither the medical community or alternative medicine has been able to help you. You've exhausted all avenues known to "man" and came up empty. So God is your last hope.

Like many "good" Christians you're not alone in taking this route first. In this modern age we've come to rely on human physicians instead of the Great Physician. After all, God has blessed doctors with knowledge and a gift for healing. But, many times we go to them as our gods for healing and many of them readily take on that persona and to go against their directives they feel may even qualify as blasphemy.

I'm not against doctors mind you. God has raised them up to be blessings. But, we are to seek God and His wisdom first and not set up other human beings as a replacement for God the Father, Son and Spirit.

And when conventional medicine comes short we seek alternative medicine.

Proverbs 3:5-8 talks about trusting God even more than you trust your own instincts for trusting God will bring health to your body and nourishment to your bones.

God's will is not that of miraculous healing for your body and mind but that you walk in His will first and by doing so live in divine health. It would be vain to miraculously heal a smashed thumb if the carpenter does nothing to prevent the possibility of hitting it with a hammer again thereby injuring it consistently.

So why isn't God listening to your pleads of anguish and your cries for healing? God is waiting for you to quit swinging the spiritual hammer. Sins prevent God's work in our lives and sometimes we don't even realize that we are sinning. The number one hindrance to being blessed is disobedience.

The following may be some reasons it seems as though your prayers are falling on deaf ears.

1. Holding a grudge or unforgiveness toward another.

God is not a bubble-gum machine. In Mark 11 we are told that we can pray to even have a mountain removed and be thrown into the sea and if we don't doubt it will come about. People so often want their prayers for health answered so badly that they fail to keep reading. Just the next two verses tell us to forgive so that our heavenly Father may forgive us. If we don't forgive neither will He. How can we be healed of a chronic disease if we fail to forgive others as we have been forgiven?

God's love is not conditional but He won't bless sin. He also isn't fooled. He knows forgiveness for us is sometimes difficult. But, forgiveness is an attitude of the heart and a choice. You don't forgive people who have wronged you because you feel like it. You make the choice to forgive and because we have the Spirit of God dwelling in us, He gives us the ability to forgive. We won't necessarily forget, but the bitterness of being wronged can be removed from the memory of the wrongful action.

2. To be ignorant or to lack knowledge.

God created your body with the ability to balance it's functions and to heal itself if given the optimum circumstances. Your body operates at a cellular level. If large numbers of cells fail to communicate then the created balance is upset and symptoms of disease manifest.

Disease is the miscommunication of cells. What we have to find out is what is causing the miscommunication. God knows all things and to come to Him in prayer to ask for understanding and wisdom should be foremost. Wisdom is knowledge in action. Proverbs tells us that the beginning of knowledge and wisdom starts with the fear or respect of the Lord.

3. Knowing of God but not having a relationship with Him.

Do you need to accept Jesus in order to be healed? Will He heal you anyway? Yes, God will heal people who do not accept Jesus. We see this in scripture from Mark 7 when the woman from the border of Tyre and Sidon asks for her daughter to be healed. She was not a believer but Jesus healed the daughter anyway.

And take the ten lepers for example. All were healed but only one came back to give thanks. But if you can be healed physically isn't it up-most to be healed spiritually for salvation? In James 4 we are told that we don't receive what we ask for because we ask amiss. Our motives for asking are not right and our motives aren't right because we don't really know the one we are petitioning to. When Jesus healed He preached the gospel first then He healed.

Now you say that there are those who are not Christian and receive healing. They may be instinctively following God's truths by their own reasoning in their heart. Their rewards will be of this world.

In reading through Leviticus it shows us how serious God is about sin. The penalty was high in the Old Testament. Sacrifices had to be made. Much blood from animals was shed. Jesus Christ paid the penalty for all of our sins with His shed blood. We no longer need to kill animals for forgiveness. But God still views sin as serious. It causes physical and spiritual consequences.

4. Personal sins (unknowingly or flagrant) and inherited generational sins.

In Isaiah 59 we are told that the Lord's hand can save and his ear can hear but, our iniquities have separated us from God and our sins have hid His face from us so that He will not hear. In Exodus 20 it says God holds the fathers responsible for the spirituality of the family and that consequences of sin can go on for generations.

So we not only have to consider the sins we commit ourselves but also inherited family tree sins. Diseases run in families and so do spiritual dynamics; fear, worry, anxiety, resentment, bitterness, negativity also run in families.

Temptation is not sin. But if people habitually practice those things that God has said is wrong with a hardened heart as a way of life then the God's word in Galatians 5 says that the Kingdom of God is not theirs. As with forgiveness it's a matter of the heart. It's a matter of knowing it's wrong and doing it anyway or knowing it's wrong and desperately wanting to change.

5. Not having faith that God is able to do what He says.

Praying and not really believing God can heal you is a major block for healing. Even Jesus was unable to do mighty works because of people's unbelief and doubt. As we trust in Him to work in us and with us we see His power revealed. Many books in the Bible talk about having the faith in God to know that He can do what He says; Mark, Hebrews, and Matthew. Take your belief to point of commitment!

6. Needing to see a miracle or a sign first.

How many people won't believe until they see a miracle or a sign first? They wouldn't believe Jesus was the Messiah unless He came down from the cross and delivered Himself. Thomas wouldn't believe until he saw the scars in Jesus' flesh. But Jesus said blessed are they who haven't seen and yet believe.

We are not to look to other humans for health and healing. We are to look to God, to the sanctifying work of the Holy Spirit, and to His Word. Doctors may be looked upon as miraculous healers when in fact it is God, who made your body, who heals.

We must seek God and His Word, and not wonders and signs for the foundation of our faith. Disease is a fruit of separation from God in some area in our life. Faith in God and His Word is the key to a relationship with Him not if you see miracles or signs and wonders.

7. Thinking God should heal you on your own terms not His.

First of all we are not to be impressed with our own wisdom as told to us in Proverbs 3. And if we respect the Lord and turn away from evil (sin) we will have healing for our bodies and strength for our bones.

A great illustration of this takes place in 2 Kings 5:11-14. The commander of the king of Aram's army, Naaman, had a spiritual problem of pride. Pride in thinking he knew what was the best way for God to heal him of leprosy. Elisha the prophet had sent a messenger to Naaman to tell him to wash seven times in the Jordan river. But Naaman got irate that first of all Elisha himself didn't come out to heal him and secondly that there were better rivers than Jordan to wash in. He left in a rage.

Naaman's officers confronted him with the fact that if Elisha had given him something complicated to do he would have done it. So why was he being stubborn in doing something simple like washing in the Jordan and be cured? Naaman conceded and washed in the Jordan river 7 times and was healed of leprosy.

8. Looking to man to be the source of your healing.

Are we running from one doctor or expert of a medical modality to the next trying to find the answer to our healing rather than turning to God in prayer and to seek a relationship with Him first and then His wisdom?

Psalm 118:8 says it's better to go to the Lord than to trust in people. We find this in 2 Chronicles 16 when King Asa was afflicted with a disease in his feet and even though his disease was severe, even in his illness he did not seek help from the LORD, but only from the physicians. He died two years later.

The Lord tells us that cursed is the one who trusts in man, who depends on flesh for his strength and whose heart turns away from the LORD. Our salvation through Jesus Christ may be secure because we we trust in Him for forgiveness of sins but we can still suffer physically if we don't trust in Him for guidance in healing.

9. Trying to hide sins and faults from God and not being honest with one another.

Why do people lie about doing something they think is wrong? Why do they try to hide it? Because of pride and fear. Fear of what others will think, fear of rejection, fear of failure and fear of not being loved and too proud to admit that even you can make a mistake or have weaknesses.

Yet we are told to confess our faults to one another and pray for each other in James 5. God sees it all anyway so there's no hiding anything from Him. We need to bear one another's burdens as in Galatians 6.

Proverbs 28 lays it out on the line by saying that he that covers his sins shall NOT prosper: but if you confess and turn from them you shall have mercy. We all sin and fall short of the glory of God. But we are to help each other build one another up. Team mates.

We are not to be angry and resentful of ministers of God's Word when they speak the truth to us regarding sin and turning our lives around. That's truth when it hits an open wound of pride. Destruction closely follows pride as a fall also follows a haughty spirit.

10. Not giving to God what is rightly His in tithes and offerings.

Everything is God's because He made it all. Malachi 3 talks about robbing God. When we neglect to see that all of our blessings come from Him and take and take and take and not respond in kind, then we rob from God. If you're a manager of a store,a department, or an executor of an estate you want to know how the owner or boss wants it handled. Your job is a steward of what you were given. But, to do the best job you can you ask how it should be managed. It's called embezzling if you take it as your own.

God has given us time, talent and money. To show our trust and gratitude for His blessings we are to give back a portion. Not just any portion, however, but the first portion of what He has given us. If we do that He promises to pour out blessings that there shall not be room enough to receive it.

11. Looking to the symptoms and not to The Healer.

Anytime you concentrate on the problem instead of how to solve it you get nowhere. I know it's difficult to look past the symptoms especially when pain is involved. It consumes our present life and gives us the fear of pain in the future.

But just as Peter started to sink because he took his focus off of Jesus Matthew 14 so we must remain focused on the author of our faith and the creator of our bodies. We are to put on the FULL armor of God as in Ephesians 6. The enemy does not want to easily give up a stronghold. To distract you with symptoms is a great tactic to hold you in fear and paralyze you - maybe literally.

Look to the Healer that we see in Romans 8. If He can raise Jesus from the dead surely He can heal you. Don't negate that Christ took your sickness as well as your sins to the cross and by His stripes we are healed as 1 Peter 2 tells us.

12. Harboring fear in your heart.

Fear quenches faith. Fear put your focus on you and your problems and tells you that God isn't who He says He is. Fear produces doubt and doubt makes you think that God isn't omnipotent. God can't handle your disease. God wants you that way. Fear quenches prayer. After all God must not be listening to pitiful you.

Fear doesn't come from God. As a matter of fact over 300 times in the Word of God we're told NOT TO FEAR or FEAR NOT! God's antidote is His Spirit. His Spirit is found in reading His Word and hearing the truth of who God really is; creator, redeemer and sustainer of our lives. God gives us peace as in John 14 and a spirit of power, love and a sound mind in 2 Timothy 1.

Discern where the spirit of fear is coming from as it is keeping you from prayers being answered. Even in the secular realm we've been told we have nothing to fear but fear itself.

13. Neglectful lifestyle.

You expect healing when you neglect the care of your body. Unhealthy and risky lifestyles are directly opposite of God's command to take care of your body, His temple. We were bought with a price; we are not our own. We are to honor God with our bodies and to present them as a living sacrifice to our Maker. It is our spiritual act of worship.

So not getting the right nutrition, drinking enough water and getting enough sleep and rest have a natural consequence. So does watching vile media, taking in unhealthy substances and listening to negative and counterproductive music.

Don't keep blocking your own healing with a lifestyle choice you won't give up.

14. Not resisting the enemy and just giving up thinking God wants you that way.

Your premature death doesn't help God build His Kingdom one bit. Your being in disease doesn't fulfill God's purpose for you in the least. Can you declare His truth to others if you're dead? Can the dead arise and praise God as it states in Psalm 88 and 30?

God doesn't need disease to get you to heaven. We are of no earthly good to God if we die without ministering to other souls that need to hear His Gospel of Salvation! We are to spread the Good News and how can you do that if you are totally concentrating on your own physical health? We fail ourselves and God if we don't ask for wisdom for healing and stop being in His Word.

We are told to fight the good fight and give God ALL glory.

15. Past and continued involvement in occultism or other spiritualities.

There are a lot of healing practices and medical modalities. From acupuncture, meditation, Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), yoga, diets, reiki, energy healing, biofeedback, tarot, New Age, angelology, breathwork, Chinese herbs, hypnosis, healing touch, imagery, reflexology, shamanism and the list goes on and on. We get so caught up with the finding THE answer or THE cure that we stay on this medical-go-round and totally miss who gives us life and health in the first place.

We look to other gods running from one thing to the next to relieve our fear or pain instead of to the One that has had the answers all along and has been patiently waiting for us to come and ask Him. To rely on Him only. Psalm 118 reminds us to trust in God and not in human means that will let us down. We also are not to turn to idols and that includes ourselves.

God has given us an inborn yearning for Him; a spiritual tug. But we must not confuse that yearning for anything other than the One true God; Father, Son and Spirit who created, sustains and saved us from spiritual death and carried our diseases to the cross. To do so may mean earthly rewards but spiritual sabotage.

Don't be deceived. God is foremost concerned with you going to heaven but He needs healthy soldiers who give Him ALL glory to carry out the spiritual warfare to win others to Christ. We must clean up our spiritual act so we have the energy and zeal to fulfill our purpose in His Kingdom. Times of trial and pain test our commitment, faithfulness and trust in a God who loves us dearly and gave His Son so we may have life, and have it abundantly.

Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth. ~3 John 1:2

God is dealing with you; His body in this world. If you are Christian in your beliefs and know that God raised Jesus from the dead then He surely can bring healing and health to your body and mind as well as forgive your sins. But just as Jesus followed His Father's will so must we.

Compensation Resources, Inc. And Christian Leadership Alliance Release The 2009 Compensation Survey Report For Christian Organizations

Author: Paul R. Dorf, APD

Upper Saddle River, N.J. – October 30, 2009 - Compensation Resources, Inc. (CRI) and Christian Leadership Alliance (CLA) have released their 2009 Compensation Survey Report for Christian Organizations.  This is an annual study specifically designed to provide important compensation data for use by Christian-based organizations.  Along with salary and bonus data on 70 jobs, the survey also captured benefit information including insurance coverage, paid time off, retirement plans, turnover, work – life, etc.

The data is separated into the following 8 industrial classifications covering Christian-based organizations:

P       Association / Foundation

P       Broadcast Media

P       Camp / Conference Center

P       Christian College / University

P       Church / Ministry

P       Missions Agency

P       Parachurch

P       Social Service / Rescue Mission

In addition, the survey data is reported for each position by revenue, employee size,  organizational hierarchy, and region.  Various statistical measures are reported, such as the average, median, and percentile data for each position.

A key finding is that there is a heavy reliance (more than 80.0% of participants) on the use of published surveys for establishing the market value for their jobs.  Merit increases during 2009 to leadership positions averaged 2.4% with a significant drop to 1.5% projected for 2010.  It is interesting to note that all respondents provide health insurance, with PPO (61.5%) being the plan of choice.

Hired Now!You're Talking Yourself Out of Getting a Job by Giving Wrong Answers to Interview Question

Author: Christian Schoyen

by Christian Schoyen, leading U.S. job expert, life architect, and author - ASecondLife.com

Everyone knows that the first step to securing a job is a compelling and convincing resume. But most people don't know that the next step, the job interview, is so important that if you make a handful of common mistakes, you'll blow your chances and walk away empty-handed.

The Problem: You've got the right education, experience, and references, all presented on a well-put together resume. It's getting you job interviews, but no job offers.

The harsh truth: A good resume gets your foot in the door, but the right qualifications (background and experience) are only the first step toward getting the job. A potential employer wants to know what it would be like to have you around the office every day-your personality and attitude. That comes through in your job interview.

The Solution: Being prepared to properly answer the questions you'll be asked greatly increases your chances for success. Knowing what recruiters and potential employers are looking for and how they think gives you a distinct advantage.

The Job Interview Secrets No One Tells You

As the founder of a successful global headhunting firm serving Fortune 500 companies for over twelve years, and author of the books: A Second Life, God is giving you a second chance, and Secrets of the Executive Search Experts, well as self help books on "how to get the job," I have coached thousands of people who have gotten the jobs they wanted. Some of the secrets I shared with them:

Don't talk yourself out of the job!

When a prospective employer invites you to a job interview, it means your skills meet their requirements and your chances of getting the job are great. The rest is really up to you. Nine out of ten people can shift the outcome of an interview toward acceptance, rather than rejection, if they know what to do-and not do.

- Learn the questions and answers before the interview.

Before an interview, practice giving the right answers to the questions you may be asked-which are usually very universal. The potential employer wants to get to know you better; have you elaborate on your skill set; and figure out if you are a high flyer, go-getter, just a "warm body" who will make no additional contribution outside of minimal expectations-or worse than that, a flat-liner who will actually drag down their company.

- Stay on point.

If a conversation appears casual, don't be tricked into thinking you don't need to stay on point and cover key information. Many job seekers are thrown off-balance when a potential employer asks about a hobby, non-work related activity or common interest in the middle of an interview. Answer briefly, but then get back to the real topic at hand: the work done by the company and how you can make a valuable contribution. The reality is: this interview is your only chance to get this job. So don't close your one window of opportunity by screwing up the conversation.

- How to tell them about yourself.

Every company considers it a great test to see how effectively a job candidate communicates. Practice the format and structure of possible job interview situations-meaning how to get to the point and sell yourself convincingly and engagingly.

Don't make the mistake of taking only five minutes to tell a prospective employer about yourself. The interviewer will wonder what kind of life you have if you can describe it in such a short amount of time. Don't focus completely on your skill set and say nothing about yourself as a person, or you'll lose your potential new employer before you're halfway through.

Questions most commonly asked during a job interview.

Here are the eight universal questions usually asked during a job interview, followed by how to effectively answer them:

1. Please tell me/us about yourself.

Answering Question #1: Focus on hard facts that the employer needs to know. First of all, convince them that you can do the job you're interviewing for. Talk about specific relevant job experiences in your background. Companies prefer, for the most part, to hire people who have successfully done the same job, or something similar, elsewhere. If our work experience matches up with what the potential employer needs to have done, then the risk factor that you'll screw up is very limited.

But before hitting the hard facts, share information about yourself as a person. Everyone likes people who start out by saying where they are originally from and a little about their personal situation. Then go on to where you went to school and run through your work history. Big time gaps in work history are not good; neither is jumping from job to job if you don't have a good explanation for why.

2. What do you do outside of work, or what non-work related interests do you have?

Answering Question #2: Companies ask a job candidate this question because most really do want to hire stable people with good, balanced lives.

Incorrect answers are: "I like to hang out at the bars," or "I have no interests except for watching television." Nobody wants to hire a bar hopper or someone who spends all of their spare time glued to the television. On the other hand, having too many outside interests can give the impression that they are likely to affect the quality of your work in a very negative way. I have seen numerous occasions where people say that maintaining their social life with friends is important to them-meaning their weekly outings with friends will always be more important than deadlines at work. A negative impression can also be given when people say they engage in a lot of sports activities, either as a participant or a fan, because it can mean that adjusting their schedule to attend or view a sporting event can interfere with or be more important than any activity at the company.

For the correct answers, the key is to show there is balance in your life. Safe activities to talk about are: going to the gym, spending quality time with family, and going to church, the movies, or the theater, etc. Having a unique interest, such as astronomy or something else mainstream (meaning not bizarre), will always be a positive. And because most companies want employees who have stable lives, being married or having a boyfriend/girlfriend is a great plus.

3. What are your strong points and your weak points?

Answering Question #3: Many job candidates are very comfortable talking about their strong sides, but have difficulty stating weak points. Being unable to do so gives the impression that you are not good at assessing yourself-when you may hesitate because you're afraid you might not get the job. The truth is, everyone has flaws. As a recruiter I don't mind flaws as long as they don't affect the person's ability to do a good job.

If little is revealed, the trick used by many companies is to then ask, "What would your current boss say about your weak points?" And, in most situations, a company that's considering hiring you will do an extensive reference check and may ask your former bosses this question. Bottom line, by being open you will come across as a person who has nothing to hide-but don't be so honest it's ridiculous.

A highly educated young man I considered recruiting a few years ago, nonchalantly answered this question by saying, "I'm lazy. I don't like to get up early in the morning." Needless to say, I didn't refer him for an interview. During over 3,000 recruitments I have conducted as a headhunter, not once has a client said, "Find me a lazy, arrogant job candidate with no drive and initiative."

Some examples of the best way to answer this question is by saying things such as, "I speak only English and wish I had taken time to learn another language," or "I can seem too eager because I get so involved in my work," or "I wish I were better at speaking in front of large groups." These types of answers convey weaknesses that can be overcome. It's very important that your weaknesses wouldn't affect your job performance.

4. Tell me about the previous managers/supervisors that you reported to.

Answering Question #4: N ever talk badly about your superiors or previous superiors (or your coworkers or former coworkers, for that matter). First of all, there's nothing for you to gain by doing so. Even if you feel your previous superior was totally incompetent, saying so will only backfire by reflecting badly on you. Secondly, it's a matter of showing respect. And by giving respect to others, you gain respect yourself.

Also, as a warning, I have seen companies and recruiters get so "buddy-buddy" with a job candidate during an interview that he/she drops his/her guard and speaks the total truth about a previous boss, which later in another setting boomerangs at the candidate in a negative way. To be safe, no matter what, just don't do it.

5. Where do you see yourself in the years to come?

Answering Question #5: This is also a trick question. When you have nothing to say, you come across as having no aspirations whatsoever and if you say too much about big plans, it looks like you're going to leave the job when a better position or opportunity comes along.

The correct answer is: "My main interest is this job. I want to excel at it and do my very best. That's my objective and main focus. As far as the future, I would like to believe that I will become better and better at what I do. If this means I will naturally grow into another position with this company, time will tell. But again, my goal is this job and being the best that I can be in this capacity."

6. What do you know about us?

Answering Question #6: The way you answer this questions indicates whether you are prepared. It's very important to know as much as possible about the company where you are applying for a job. By being able to tell them what you know, they see that you are serious enough to have done some homework before arriving for your interview. Also, by learning as much as possible about the company, you will be able to ask the right questions and engage in an intelligent conversation about the company during your interview.

The key information to learn is the size of the company, the structure, products, services, history, the market, locations, etc., as well as details of the job you're applying for. Also know about any important events relating to the company and market it operates in that have been covered in the media. This shows that you follow the news and stay up-to-date on what is going on in the world. Plus, you'll come across as being very smart and truly interested in the company if you can figure ut what competitors the company has and how the company's products/services are different (better!) than the rest of market.

7. Why do you think you are a good match for this position?

Answering Question #7: This is your window of opportunity to put all the hard facts on the table, convey the ways in which you are a very good match and why you are so unique. Remember, just saying that you are a hard worker and a very pleasant person is a given. You need to come up with facts about what you can bring to the table that others cannot. By thoughtfully assessing yourself, your skills, and experience while approaching your job search, you will have a specific answer to this question. The things you say that stand out could determine whether you get the job or someone else gets it. So, think of facts related to your skill set, your experience, a network you may have developed, or strong job-related interests that will bear fruit in the near future.

8. What is your current salary?

Answering Question #8: Talking about salary can be challenging. If the new job is for a more prestigious company than your previous employer, and the new job tasks are more challenging, you may believe at the start of the process that the job is more important than the pay. But when a job offer comes through, most people change their minds, often saying something like, "But that's less than I have been making." Most companies know this will happen, so they pay close attention to the salary question to make sure they are not wasting time on the wrong candidate.

The reality is that everyone, including the job candidate, knows that when they have made a lot more money in the past and accept a big drop in pay for a new job, they are likely to grab the next position that comes along with higher pay and jump ship. This is understandable when someone has a number of years of experience and a certain lifestyle, expenses, and status quo to maintain.

When asked about salary, the trick is to first get the company to reveal a number. Your best approach is to just say, "If you feel I am a good fit for this company and this position, I am sure we will come to terms," or "The main thing is whether I fit the requirements of what you are looking for, and if that's so, I would be very happy to receive an offer from you first, because I am very interested in this opportunity." (Say this even if you are not.) By saying this you keep the focus on getting the job, while not disqualifying yourself because of salary demands. You can negotiate a salary once you know that you truly have their interest-by getting an offer, not before. If they know that in your current job you earn much more than the new position would pay, that's a different story. Then you have to decide whether taking a pay cut is worth it to you, because they're probably not going to meet or exceed your current salary.

When you learn at the start of the job search process that the salary range of a potential new job is below what you currently earn, you need to do some soul searching to decide if you still want the job. Simply ask yourself: Will this job take me further down the road to where I want to be in my career? If so, be prepared to answer their salary question truthfully by saying, "My pay today is 'X' amount of dollars and I know what my expenses are. I am not sure what your pay range is for this position, but I want to emphasize that at this point in my life, I seek to learn more and expand my skill set. This is more important to me than anything else, even if it means taking a pay cut."

On the other hand, if you have no other choice but to accept a salary cut-whether it's due to a bad economy, the chance that your current job may be eliminated, or because you feel unhappy and unfulfilled in your current job-ask yourself if this may be a chance to go in a better direction in life, where you will be experiencing new values and beliefs that can help you grow and evolve. If you believe this is correct, sincerely say to the hiring company that you are venturing into new territory where you genuinely want to try something new and different, and that the position in question is therefore of great interest to you.

Being honest-with yourself and your potential new employer-is the key here. Turn around and imagine that you are a company that is hiring. You don't want to go through the entire hiring process and then shortly afterward see your new employee jump ship. Being honest will never backfire on you.

People need to look at the long term and understand that their own best interests should be driven by seeking knowledge and job growth more than immediate gratification, because the payoff down the road will be tremendously higher than just working for the paycheck and the ego. A hunger for more and more money is such a strong driving force that many people even go into fields/jobs/careers that don't provide them with much fulfillment besides making money. Money is important, in that you should always try to ensure that you are paid market rate. But you should never turn down great opportunities because of greed for a short-term paycheck when the long-term payoff is usually greater when you are driven by a quest for knowledge in areas where your passions can thrive.

A proven system for making your job search more successful is detailed in the life manual, A Second Life, God is giving you a second chance. Christian Work At Home Jobs

Author: Courtney

A majority of Christian moms stay at home with their children instead of working outside of the home.  In today's economy though, it is hard for a family to live on one income so many of these Christian moms are looking for work at home job opportunities.  Unfortunately, many of the so-called Christian work at home jobs you find on the Internet, in reality are scams, surveys, or situations where you merely make pennies for hours of work.

While yes, you may make a little bit of money doing these things, they are not always the most honest and reliable way to earn an income.  For a Christian that is huge.  Christian are looking for legitimate work at home jobs where they can earn enough money to help contribute to their household total income.  They are looking for jobs where they actually make a difference and not to feel like they are being taken advantage of.

Luckily, the Internet is the land of opportunity.  With a little bit of hard work, a Christian mom can create a successful online business in almost any niche, and be happy with what they are doing.   Just because you want to work at home does not mean you have to give up your morals, your faith, or your dreams.  In fact the opposite is true; use those morals, faith, and dreams to make your online business a success.

Some Christian work at home jobs might include web design and/or development, graphic design, virtual assistant services, transcriptionist, sale of information products, affiliate marketing, social media or blog consultant, etc.  The list is actually quite long.  There is not a shortage of Christian work at home work jobs.

The Internet is huge and there a paid opportunities all around, even for a Christian.  Pray for God's will, do a little a research, decide what God wants you to do, and get started.  Don't forget to put God in the front of whatever job or business direction you decide to do in.

Is social media eliminating the cult of personality?

Author: Peter Applebaum

We recently blogged on the convergence of technology and religion. But it's possible that while social media may help religion in the short-term, it could actually be the end of it in the long run.

The world's dominant religions are built around the cult of personality. Christianity has Jesus Christ, Islam has the Prophet Mohammed, and Buddhism has the Buddha, and so on. The teachings of individuals have been disseminated (and, some would argue, distorted) over the centuries, gifting people the collective belief that is the essence of religion.

Social media changes the game. Religions have historically preached to the masses, but social media is all about empowering the individuals that form the masses. It's a significant difference. So, too, is the fact that religions have always tended to be top-down. A pope, archbishop or ayatollah delivers an edict, and the followers obey.

It's no coincidence that Christianity experienced profound changes (principally the split between Catholicism and Protestantism) as a result of the printing press, which enabled individuals to interpret the scriptures themselves rather than having a preordained interpretation forced upon them. The Pope's word was questioned and the Reformation was the result.

Social media, powered by the reach and accessibility of a technology that even puts the printing press in the shade, takes this to the next level.

And it's not only religion that could feel the pinch. Countries and corporations alike used to be headed by almost messianic personalities. From Paul Keating to Bill Gates, these were people who captured -- who demanded -- attention. Now, though, with the possible exception of Apple's Steve Jobs, the power of one has been diminished (as even Barack Obama would testify). Now it's the power of multiple ones -- multiple individuals talking and connecting with each other as individuals rather than as part of the crowd -- that counts.

Mark Zuckerberg is no more the face of Facebook than anyone with an online profile. He may have more followers -- and more money -- than most, but in terms of day-to-day social interaction, he's no more important.

Social media democratizes by giving power back to the individuals. The prophets have gone and, unless organizations get to grips with the need to converse and connect with customers on that individual level, the profits will follow suit.

Compensation Resources, Inc. and Christian Management Association Release the 2007 Compensation Handbook for Christian Ministries

Author: Paul R. Dorf, APD

Upper Saddle River, NJ – Compensation Resources, Inc. (CRI) and Christian Management Association (CMA) have released their 2007 Compensation Handbook for Christian Ministries. This is an annual study specifically designed to provide important compensation data for use by Christian based organizations. Along with salary data on 70 jobs, the survey also captured benefit information including insurance coverage and human resource trends, such as: paid time off, retirement plans, turnover, etc.

The data is separated into the following 12 industrial classifications covering Christian based organizations:

* Associations

* Financial Services

* Broadcast Media

* Foundations

* Camps & Conference Centers

* Mission Agencies

* Christian Colleges/Universities

* Outreach/Social Service

* Churches

* Parachurches

* Educational Services

* Publishers

In addition, the survey data is reported for each position by revenue, employee size, and organizational hierarchy. Various statistical measures are reported, such as the average, median, and percentile data for each position.

A key finding is that there is a heavy reliance (80% of participants) on the use of published surveys for establishing the market price for their jobs. More than half (59% of respondents) provide salary increases based on length of service or provide flat across the board increases to all employees. The remaining 41% of the participants indicated that they provide salary increases based on employees' evaluated performance. It is interesting to note that this is well below the use of merit pay programs typically found in the non-religion based organizations. In those organizations, merit pay accounts for 75%-93% according to various recent studies.

Strategizing Your Job Search: Get Out of the Ice Age and Join the 21st Century

Author: Amber Prescott

Today's job market is in a state of disequilibrium and underemployment, which is forcing job seekers to evolve their employment search tools and methods.  Christina Romer, former Chair of Whitehouse Council of Economic Advisors reported that "nearly 14 million Americans currently are looking for a job, but can't find one.  Unemployment remains an absolute crisis" (Vanderbilt University Speech/March 22, 2011).

Christina Romer's proclamation may be difficult to accept, but it isn't too surprising.  If you've been applying for jobs through traditional methods, i.e. resume, cover letter and online application, you might be looking for quite a while.  Don't lose hope though.  Just change up your game plan and strategize your job search to include various self-promotion and marketing tools.

As with all challenges in life, we must find a way to climb over or break down the walls that prevent us from reaching our goals.  Constant changes in technology and a volatile economy are pushing job seekers find new employment search practices that diversify their efforts and incorporate 21st Century technology.  In order to successfully apply these new practices, you must learn to:

  1. Understand employers and their challenges in finding great candidates,
  2. Market yourself as a 21st Century-actively passive candidate, and
  3. Promote yourself online and through social media

Understanding Employers

Due to the high rate of unemployment, it's a buyer's market out there.  Employers have their choice of many, highly-qualified candidates.  However, the market has shifted so far out of balance that many employers can't handle the number of applicants they receive per position.

On April 3, 2011, Paul Krugman of the New York Times reported to Christiane Amanpour that, "at this time, there are approximately five times as many job seekers as there are available jobs."  As a result, employers are searching for candidates through avenues other than public job postings.

Sure, there are still thousands of job postings available and people are winning interviews by applying to those postings every day.  But the trend is quickly shifting as corporations are downsizing and learning to do more with less.  Sifting through 200 or more applicants for one position isn't exactly a great use of time.

In response to their own needs, many employers are searching for candidates who market themselves online and through social media.  In other words, they want to shop around for the right person and not bother with those who don't fit their criteria.  This means that you need to make sure you are in the right place at the right time with a clear and professional message.

A Lead Sales Manager for a local radio station recently approached us with her frustrations about the amount of time it takes her to sort through the hundreds of applications she receives to public job postings.  To save time and narrow her search results, she now locates candidates of interest ahead of time through online search engines and social media.  Contacting them personally and asking them to apply allows her to control the number and quality of submissions.

Marketing Yourself as a 21st Century-Actively Passive Candidate

Many job seekers I've talked to in recent months qualify as "active" candidates.  Most are currently unemployed or expect to be within the next year.  They are registered in every job board available and often apply for 5 or more jobs per day, many of which they are not qualified for.  Their intentions are honorable; however their applications may never be seen by the hiring manager.  For employers, finding their perfect candidate through public job postings is like finding a needle in a haystack.

Worse yet, the perfect candidate might very well be in that stack, but many companies don't have the resources available to thoroughly check every single resume submitted.  Several months ago, our company posted a position for a website designer on Craigslist and we received almost 1,000 submissions!  We were so overwhelmed by the responses that we opted to wait on hiring because we just didn't have the time to deal with the onslaught of emails and phone calls.

A smaller group of job seekers we work with might be considered "passive" candidates.  They are extremely picky about the positions and companies they apply to and have a list of non-negotiable criteria that can be difficult for employers to meet.  Employers often question whether or not passive candidates are truly serious about their job searches, or if they're just flirting with the idea.

Somewhere in between active and passive candidates, are job seekers who have truly figured out how to emerge from the Ice Age as glorious victors in the 21st Century.  We refer to these individuals as "21st Century-actively passive" candidates.  These strategists know how to balance their strong desire for new employment while pursuing only well-qualified positions that will fully utilize their experience, education, and skills.  These candidates aren't afraid to think outside the box and diversify their job search methods through online promotion and social media.

Promoting Yourself Online and Through Social Media

Many job seekers are frustrated with the results they find on large, online job boards.  Each day their email inboxes are filled with numerous "work from home" or "business opportunity" postings that have "scam" written all over them.  We certainly don't encourage our clients to rely solely on online job boards, but they aren't a complete waste of time and energy.  Some of their positions are legitimate, but they are best for luring recruiters and head hunters directly to you.  So go ahead and register away!  Just don't rely solely on these groups to find your next opportunity.

Keeping your LinkedIn profile updated and your Facebook clean and professional are great ways to promote yourself through social media.  Post your resume on both and let your contacts know that you're looking.  Consider starting a blog or Twitter about your job search experience and skills you are gaining in the process.

The key to effective social media is diversification, so use several sources, link them together, post often, and make sure your messages are consistent, professional, and meaningful.  Not only does this show your determination and entrepreneurial spirit, but it also builds your online credibility.  Danny Schaeffler, Founder and President of Engineering Quality Solutions believes that in the world of social media, "if companies don't know you're out there, you won't have an opportunity to be considered."

Another powerful tool in the 21st Century job search is online promotion through a website, or Webumé (online resume & portfolio).  Linking a Webumé to your LinkedIn, Facebook, blog, and Twitter allows employers who are out there searching for candidates to see how you might be the perfect fit for their position.  We always advise our clients to add an interview video and/or a welcome video to their Webumé as well.  This increases your online searchability and gives you a chance to show your personality and verbal presentation skills while impressing them with your greatest achievements.

WebumeNow.com is quickly gaining notoriety for helping job seekers strategize their employment searches through our self-promotion and marketing products.  Christina Pomoni, freelance Business & Finance writer for Yahoo! Finance and Yahoo! News stated that, "I think WebumeNow.com is a pretty innovative idea and, to be honest, it is the first time I have come across a website like this one.  It offers job seekers greater exposure and above all a well-structured and very presentable resume that incorporates one's strengths and capabilities very effectively."

Here is my challenge to you:  Stop and analyze your current job search methods.  Don't define insanity by repeating the same actions over and over again and expect to see different results.  Instead, strategize your job search, get out of the ice age, and join the 21st Century.  We'd love to see you here!

As always, please feel free to contact me with specific questions or concerns regarding your employment search issues.  I'm always here to help!

Christian Athletics Stress Integrity

Author: Andrew

College level Christian athletics stress the importance of integrity. Christian athletics believe in maintaining the integrity of the game. The goal of college level Christian athletics is to show that playing the right way is the best way. Christian athletics stress the significance of playing within the rules, as hard as possible. Sportsmanship is essential to Christian athletics. Christian athletics is all about the importance of teamwork. Whether, a team wins or loses, the path in which they reach that outcome is of the utmost importance.

The great Christian messages, which shape the Christian faith, should be applied to Christian athletics. Sports can be a beautiful thing, without the extracurricular activities, which are too often portrayed in the media. Playing hard, but playing within the rules is more effective and more rewarding than taking shortcuts.  Christian athletic coaches understand they have a two part job. First, they must help shape better Christian people and secondly great players. Applying a strong faith system, to the field, court, course, or any other Christian athletics venue can be extremely helpful. In sports, players have to have a strong belief in their abilities. Christian athletics preach that through Christ all things are possible. This is a great message, for teams faced with adversity.
